Chocolate wafers are highly liked by the millions of the chocolate lovers

The simple recipe which consists of a stack of the wafers with the whipped cream in between slathered all over more whipped cream to form a sweet "log". The log was then frozen.
Other classic uses for the wafer include the crushed wafers used as the crusts for pies and cheesecakes. Although the wafers have been very popular for so many years, they can be a little hard to find many a times. The trick is to look for them in the area where the chocolate and other ice cream sauces are being kept, rather than the cookie isle.
Chocolate cookies wafer are very thin, crispy chocolate cookies that are commonly called for when making chocolate crumb crusts and icebox cakes. They have a bittersweet cocoa flavour to them and a very dark, nearly black, color. They are an unusual cookie these days, although they have been around since the 1930s, because these are their two primary uses and you rarely see them in other applications. As a result, they can be difficult to find and not every grocery store will carry them.
The drawback to using these particular cookies in a recipe is that they tend to be fairly expensive for a small box of the cookies, mostly because they are not used for all that much. You will need them in some of the recipes – such as some icebox cakes that rely on their particular size and shape – but when it comes to the chocolate crumb crusts, you will often be better off opting for the various chocolate cookie wafers to make a crust that particularly ends up being less expensive to produce and just as tasty. The various chocolate graham crackers are one option for the chocolate crumb crusts, and Oreo wafer cookies can also be crushed into some excellent chocolate crumbs.
