The reasons which have been stopping you from eating chocolate: Are they really true?

We all are aware  about the bad reputation of our favourite chocolate but, is that realistic? Most of us often get confused about the consumption of chocolate; is it a wonder food or a health hurting delight?

Well, here is a solution on the most talked about myths about chocolate and its consumption:

- It can elevate bad cholesterol – There are studies which have proved that increase in bad cholesterol has no link to chocolate consumption rather, it can actually decrease the level of bad cholesterol and some people have experienced the change. Cocoa butter in chocolate is said to be high in saturated fat but, much of its fat comes from stearic acid which actually doesn’t act like saturated fat.

- Higher sugar level can cause hyperactivity – No studies were able to find any association between sugar present in chocolate and hyperactive behaviour of children after consuming it.
