Chocolate had its origin from Mesoamerica which was consumed as a beverage which was accessible only to the people of higher classes. And overtime it has evolved that we now have fashion shows where models walk storm down the runway with clothes made of chocolates. There is so much competition in the world of chocolate making; and we all assume countries like Mexico, Switzerland, and Belgian to be the best manufacturer. Here is a list of the top countries famous for their chocolate.

Mexico

It was in here that cocoa was first prepared as a drink and also as a currency.
