How to make chocolates at home

Everyone loves homemade chocolates and they make the best gifts for your loved ones. Ingredients – 2 cups Cocoa powder, 2/3 cup milk powder, powdered sugar, 1 cup water, 3/4 cup butter, vanilla essence, nuts and raisins. You can take theseportions as per the requirement.

Method – Take some water and sugar in a pan and let it boil till they have reached the consistency. Remove from the stove and put some butter in the mixture.Add some milk powder, cocoa powder and vanilla essence to the melted butter.Blend them properly and let the mixture cool down for a few minutes. Slightly grease your hands using butter and pinch small portions of the mixture to give it shapes or simply pour the mixture into molds; you can also place nuts and raisins on the portions but make sure that you soak them for at least 6 hours before using them. It really improves their nutritional value.

Your homemade chocolates are ready in about 30 to 40 minutes. Place them in the refrigerator for some time and then wrap them in colorful papers so they are ready for you to serve your kids, spouse and your guests.

Some of the benefits of making chocolates at home are that they are made from the only required wholesome ingredients. And, yes most important of all is that they will not contain those artificial flavors and preservatives which most of the chocolates that you buyfrom your grocery store contain.
